From 31st August to 2nd September, the city of Alba, together with the other European Creative Cities for Gastronomy, was a protagonist at the Bergen Mastfestival, the largest food festival in Norway, with a stand full of gastronomic excellence from the Langhe Monferrato and Roero area and an information desk organised by the Langhe Monferrato Roero Tourist Consortium. To represent the capital of the Langhe in Norway, in addition to the aforementioned consortium and the staff of the Langhe Monferrato and Roero Tourist Board, there was also the " ace" chef of the Accademia Bocuse d'Or Italia, Martino Ruggieri. The stand was a reference point for creative cooking shows, which were much appreciated, with combinations of Swedish and typical Piedmontese products. Bergen, also recognised as a Creative Gastronomy City, then took part in the Contaminazioni Creative event, held in November of the same year, and relations continued with the organization of training sessions for high-level chefs in the area.
