Through creativity, the area has been able to turn wine from being an element to be paired with a meal into a key component of Alba's gastronomic culture.
As always, the protagonists are the great wines of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato area, ideally combined with STREET FOOD ËD LANGA, traditional street food of excellent character and quality.
The great red wines of the Langhe such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Alba, the whites of the Langhe, the wines of Monferrato, Roero, Roero Arneis, Gavi and Brachetto, Asti Spumante, Moscato d'Asti and Alta Langa, as well as the grappas and spirits of Piedmont, will be the focus of tastings at the stands in the city's old town, guided and supervised by the AIS Associazione Italiana Sommelier.
