The Alba Diocesan Museum is participating in the European Archaeological Days with a unique event presenting
the restoration work on the archaeological excavation and its new multimedia display:
RESTORATIONS AND DIGITAL STORIES AT THE MUDI. From conservation to enhancement of the
archaeological itinerary of the Alba Diocesan Museum.

This is the perfect opportunity to share with the public the recent years of restoration work by La
Bottegaccia snc – Restauri, which has been essential to preserving the artifacts
unearthed by archaeologists during the 2007–2008 excavation campaign and allowing them to
appreciate the history they hold.

The Mudi is now enriched with new visual and audio narratives, aiming to make the visit
more engaging. The ancient history of Alba Pompeia and its medieval Cathedral comes to life through
video narrations, multimedia applications, and audio stories, making it accessible and
engaging.

The new multimedia installation was curated by Punto Rec Studios, in collaboration with the
historical, artistic, and archaeological expertise of the Mudi staff and in collaboration with Sonitus for the
technological support. This synergy transformed the visit into an
immersive experience, combining innovative technologies, digital reconstructions, and interactive solutions that
engage visitors in the dialogue between history, archaeology, and the contemporary world.

Seats are limited, so reservations are recommended. Free tickets for the event can be booked and purchased online through the ARTSUPP ticket office, available on the museum's website . For reservations: https://artsupp.com/it/alba/musei/museo-diocesano-di-alba/biglietti?ticketing=1
