The English partisan
Friday from 3:00 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am
The conference " THE ENGLISH PARTISAN . On the sidelines of the new digital critical edition of Ur Partigiano Johnny " will be held in Alba on Friday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 24th , at the Palazzo Banca d'Alba in Via Cavour, 4.
The event, supported by the Banca d'Alba Foundation and sponsored by the City of Alba, is part of the initiatives celebrating the 23 days of the City of Alba organized by the Municipal Administration and the Department of Culture.
The international conference, organized by the scientific committee composed of Valter Boggione, Giovanni Barberi Squarotti, Gioele Cristofari, and Bianca Roagna, was created to complement the new digital critical edition of Ur Partigiano Johnny, Fenoglio's text that is perhaps less well-known but particularly interesting for scholars.
The project involves the University of Versailles Saint Quentin en Yvelines - Paris-Saclay and the University of Turin as part of the Italian-French University collaborations, obtaining important support such as that of the DIM PAMIR, the MSH Paris-Saclay and the Université franco-italienne.
