Sébastien Royez's solo exhibition promises to be very different from previous ones: atmospheres that evoke Africa without actually being so. Paintings of a startling realism, to the point that they could be mistaken for three-dimensional masks rather than paintings. A weave of colors on a surface that appears textured but is actually smooth to the touch. Sebastien Royez is an established French artist originally from Aix-en-Provence. He enjoys significant recognition thanks to his works exhibited in Paris and throughout France, in Marrakech—the city where he lived and worked for many years—and in Dubai, where he has found an enthusiastic audience. We look forward to seeing you, along with the artist, at the opening, which will be held on Saturday, September 12, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Spazio 14 gallery (Via P. Belli 14b).
