Beyond the Curtain. Dialogues on prison and inclusion.

We are a group of young people from across the province, members of the CRC Foundation's "La Generazione delle idee" Advisory Board, and we invite you to join us in reflecting on the social inclusion of people deprived of their liberty. The event will be held on Sunday, October 18, at 5:00 PM, at the Cinema Moretta and will be open to all citizens, with free admission. We will begin with a roundtable discussion moderated by the Municipal Ombudsman for Prisoners' Rights. How can we bridge the physical and human distance between those inside and those outside? We will discuss this with several associations working in the prison system and the Director of the Alba Prison. This will be followed by the performance "Ma l'amore no" (But Love No) by the Voci Erranti Company, whose performers include inmates from the Saluzzo Prison. The play aims to explore one of the least-known issues among the many affecting the Italian prison system: the deprivation of love and affection. During this period of time when private and social life is suspended, even affections and feelings are frozen. For further information, please visit the CRC Foundation website, "Upcoming Events" section. We recommend booking on the same site. We look forward to seeing you!
