In the cathedral's complex architectural history, the presence of the 12th-century bell tower is a notable element, which becomes even more extraordinary if one has the opportunity to discover the internal structure: a second tower dating back to the late 10th century is in fact enclosed by the walls of the external bell tower.

The Diocesan Museum guides offer you the opportunity to discover the astonishing bell tower, taking you on a guided tour through the history of the Cathedral up to 45 meters high. Climbing the steps between the walls of the two bell towers, you reach the top of the ancient tower, where you can admire the "city of a hundred towers" from above.

It will also be possible to visit the archaeological trail beneath the Cathedral and the lapidarium, and discover the evidence of the city's Roman and medieval past, brought to light thanks to archaeological excavations conducted since 2007 and brought to life through the new multimedia exhibition.

The afternoon will conclude, for all participants, with a snack in the garden of the Cathedral rectory to taste local products.
