The Library's small exhibitions – Glimpses of light
The exhibition can be visited during the opening hours of the “G. Ferrero” Civic Library (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:00 am–12:30 pm and 2:00 pm–6:00 pm; Thursday: 9:00 am–1:30 pm and 2:00 pm–7:00 pm; Saturday: 9:00 am–12:30 pm; closed Mondays and public holidays).
From Tuesday, September 1st to Saturday, September 26th, the G. Ferrero Civic Library hosts the photography exhibition “Sguardi di luce,” curated by Flavia Iraci and the students of the Da Vinci high school in Alba.
The exhibition is the result of a significant educational experience, in which photography became an opportunity for self-expression and exchange. "Sguardi di Luce" was born from a school curriculum that guided students through the history and techniques of photography, learning to translate thought into vision and light into action.
The project's creator and promoter is photography expert Flavia Iraci, supported by tutor Maria Antonietta Mulè. The works on display are by Giulia Einaudi, Niccolò Prandi, Aurora Imbrogno, Greta Farinetti, Anna Botta, Martina Ghi, Andrea Viberti, Elena Cavallero, Carolina Stirano, Luca Nicolas Vrincianu, Federico Queirolo, and Giada Rapalino.
In the works on display, the plurality of perspectives is transformed into shared wealth, freedom of expression, and the possibility of dialogue, offering the city community the opportunity to enter the world of young people through their way of observing and interpreting reality.
