Alba is the Italian Capital of Contemporary Art 2027

With the dossier “Le fabbrica del vento”, inspired in its title by the work of Pinot Gallizio, Alba conquers the designation of Italian Capital of Contemporary Art 2027: an acknowledgement from the Ministry of Culture that rewards a project capable of intertwining contemporary creativity, participation and valorization of the territory, with the aim of generating a lasting artistic, economic and social impact.

In 2027, art takes center stage with a comprehensive program that brings cities and hills into dialogue, including the Langhe Biennale. The title is accompanied by a €1 million ministerial contribution to implement the project's planned activities.
