Burattinarte is the international festival dedicated to puppet theater — puppets, marionettes, puppets, and shadow puppets —bringing to Alba a show that appeals to all ages, with a special focus on families and young girls and boys . It's an event renowned for its atmosphere of wonder, where craftsmanship, stagecraft, and live storytelling meet in the heart of the city.

During the festival, Alba's historic center transforms into a hub of events: performances in intimate spaces and courtyards, itinerant performances through the streets, and miniature theaters that invite visitors to pause and observe up close.
