Teatro de la Lechuza (Argentina) Maria siempre Maria

Inspired by an Argentine puppet classic, in this show Sasa Guadalupe guides Maria and a she-devil as they struggle with diets, boyfriends, and sausages.

A hilarious reimagining of Javier Villafañe's Argentine classic "Juancito and María ," in which the kidnapping devil who tries to intrude on the couple's romantic dreams is replaced by a charming she-devil with a weight-loss problem; a feminine and self-deprecating take on the original story.

Sasa Guadalupe combines ahigh technical level in the manipulation of the glove puppet, which makes him extremely expressive, with the search for original dramaturgical solutions and an instinctive sensitivity in narration.
