International Alba White Truffle Fair

The Alba International White Truffle Fair is the defining event of the Alba autumn and an international showcase dedicated to the region's gastronomic and cultural excellence. Every year, between October and December , Alba welcomes visitors from around the world with a program that blends flavor, culture, and entertainment around the Alba White Truffle.

The heart of the event is the Alba White Truffle World Market , an area in the historic center designed to appreciate and purchase truffles from the local area (Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato) in a transparent and safe manner. Sales are conducted through authorized operators and are based on a quality control system: the Municipality appoints a commission of experts, and sensory analysis judges are present during the market's opening hours to ensure verification and consumer protection.

Alongside the Market, the Fair offers a multi-level experience: cooking shows , aperitif formats like Tramonti Gourmet , and special events like Cene Insolite in unconventional locations, where even the city's scenery becomes part of the experience. The local area also takes center stage outside Alba with the activities of the Taste Lab – Castello di Roddi , including tours, lunches, and cooking classes dedicated to both Piedmontese tradition and signature dishes.
