Alba Project
Alba Project: The participatory process for the city's new master plan
Project Alba is a participatory process open to all citizens, associations, and local entities, promoted to accompany the drafting of Alba's new General Municipal Master Plan (PRGC). The initiative aims to gather ideas, needs, proposals, and direct experiences from those who live, work, or visit the city, with the goal of defining a shared vision for the urban future. Participation does not require urban planning expertise: the focus is on the daily experiences of those who inhabit the area.
The events will explore the main axes of urban development: sustainable mobility, landscape protection, urban regeneration, housing policies, local services, land use reduction, and climate adaptation.
The calendar includes 6 local events:
• September 10 (6:00–8:00 PM) | Moving around the city: interactive workshop on mobility, traffic, and transportation – Paolo Brusco Sports Center, Via Pinot Gallizio 11.
• September 12 (9:30–12:00 PM) | Adapting to a changing territory: guided walk on urban greenery, landscape, and environmental challenges – Meeting point: Piazza Sarti, in front of the Hotel Castelli.
• September 17 (6:00–8:00 PM) | Living in the city: interactive workshop on housing, building heritage, and land use – Sala Riolfo, Cortile della Maddalena, Via Vittorio Emanuele 19.
• September 20 (10:00–3:00 PM) | The Plan Takes to the Streets: Participatory Stand Open to Families and Residents – Piazza Medford, as part of Sport in Piazza.
• September 22 (6:00–8:00 PM) | Living in Neighborhoods: Interactive Workshop on Public Spaces, Social Cohesion, and Services – Senior Center, Viale Masera 1.
