Truffle Fair – Creative Moments

This project is currently being considered for recognition, further strengthening the international reach of the Alba International White Truffle Fair , the city's flagship event. The event presents itself as a hub for many events, ranging from gastronomy to culture and sustainability. The Fair's venue is located within the historic center and is a hub open to residents and tourists. Since its 2017 nomination, the program has included events aligned with the goals of the 2030 Agenda, with a particular focus on education, culture, and sustainability.

A key aspect of each edition is the creation of international relationships with other cities in the cluster or other clusters for the implementation of international projects. The primary goal is to foster the exchange of experiences and develop best practices with economic benefits for the local area. This ensures that each action can be implemented and deeply rooted in the city and its surrounding area.

International moments detail:

• 2018 edition : opening with Italian Creative Cities, launch of activities of the Italian Gastronomic District, Creative Moments with 5 cities of the Network
• 2019 edition : Guest of honor Limoges and the Pepita project
• 2020 edition : Italian Gastronomic District activities – pandemic edition
• 2021 Edition : Creative Moments – 11 guest cities for 9 weekends of events

The format then evolved with the direct involvement of some cities in specific projects, not necessarily related to the Fair, continuing to underscore the importance of building relationships, which remain the foundation of every creative activity.
