The delegation from the Municipality of Alba, leader of the ALCOTRA Interreg project, presented "Starred Biodiversity" in Chamonix, the result of an international partnership between Italy and France involving the Municipalities of Cogne, the Gal, La Motte Servolex, and Le Bourget du Lac.

The meeting, promoted by the ALCOTRA management authority, was an opportunity to illustrate the guiding principles of the new 2021-2027 planning.

The project presentation was entrusted by the partnership to Alba's Councillor for Tourism, Emanuele Bolla, who outlined the key elements of the biodiversity enhancement process, made possible by European funding totaling €430,000, distributed among the various partners.

Emanuele Bolla, Councilor for Tourism for the City of Alba, explains: "It was an opportunity to discuss the project, its development, and its value to our local communities. One of the most interesting aspects was the training program for Biodiversity Storytellers, described by storyteller Stefania Giacosa, who was present with us at the conference. Another project that emerged as one of the most interesting, in terms of impact, was ORTOgrafia, which, thanks to the school garden, has been a resounding success, building on the recognition it received from UNESCO last summer at the World Conference on Creative Cities.".

Also present at the meeting was Fabio Carosso, Vice President of the Piedmont Region, who visited the local stands and spent time illustrating the projects, including Biodiversità Stellata and IMPACT, led by APRO.
