Starry Biodiversity
Stellar Biodiversity - Wild Herbs in the Kitchen
Share on

In conclusion to the events “ Livertin Experience ”, “ Picnic in the vineyard ” and “ Biodiversity and Mixology ” dedicated to the recognition, collection and use in the kitchen of the main edible wild herbs of the area, the Municipality of Alba, in collaboration with the IDEA magazine and the French partners of Le Bourget-du-Lac and La Motte-Servolex, has created a mini-guide in paper and digital format to raise awareness among users and increase their skills on agri-food biodiversity.

The guide includes a list of the main wild herbs typical of the Langhe and Roero regions and Savoy, as well as traditional recipes created by chefs representing the two regions.

The guide, part of the “Biodiversità Stellata/Biodiversité Étoilée” project, was funded by the Interreg VA France-Italy ALCOTRA 2014-2020 programme as part of the partnership activities involving the Municipality of Alba as lead partner, the GAL Langhe Roero Leader, the Municipality of Cogne, the Ville de La Motte-Servolex and the Commune du Bourget-du-Lac.
