From Saturday, June 20th to Saturday, August 8th, the Giovanni Ferrero Civic Library in Alba will host the exhibition “Monocolori” by artist Vito Cosentino.

His solo exhibition is a journey exploring the relationship between nature and humanity, crafted through the skillful use of graphite, charcoal, and sanguine. The works on display are the result of in-depth graphic studies and seem to convey an almost metaphysical interpretation of reality, inviting the viewer to reflect beyond the surface.

The exhibition thus proves to be an opportunity to observe and appreciate drawings that are at the same time an analysis of external elements, introspection and transposition, even on the level of deeper meanings.

Born in Agira in 1954, Vito Cosentino settled in Alba for work. His connection to drawing began at school, thanks to Professor Incorpora. Today, he hones his technique with instructor Stefania Vergari of the CPIA.
