Micro Festival Milton 2026 – Making utopia
A meeting with Alba-born author Paolo Bosca and a presentation of his book FARE UTOPIA, Nottetempo ed. Ranging from the Salento countryside, which is being reborn thanks to territorial regeneration collectives, to the abandoned vineyards of the Susa Valley occupied by the No TAV protesters, who are trying to create, through protest, a different form of coexistence; from the ZAD of Notre-Dame-des-Landes, where activists' agricultural work prevented the construction of an airport, to the urban gardens flourishing in uncultivated spaces on metropolitan outskirts, this essay shows how contemporary manifestations of dissent share a need for a space for transformative action. It therefore suggests a theory of utopia that places collaborative practices between humans and nonhumans at its core, and aims to redefine the geographical limits of social action.
