Fear is… Halloween at the Library and Museum

The “Federico Eusebio” Civic Museum and the “Giovanni Ferrero” Civic Library in Alba will celebrate Halloween on Saturday, October 31st, with three different events.

begins at 5:00 pm at the Civic Museum with "Trick or Treat?", a hunt for the mysteries of the Museum and its stories. Riddles, puzzles, and observation games will guide children as they discover the wonders preserved within its halls. The afternoon will also be an opportunity to listen to guides' tales of Roman funerary customs and some traditions that have survived to the present day. A creative workshop will follow.
Recommended age: 7-10. Admission is €7. Reservations are required by emailing museofedericoeusebio@gmail.com.

The Library's afternoon is dedicated to children.
At 5:30 pm, "Naughty Ghosts... Scary Children!" Lots of stories, read aloud by Chiara Mozzone, will immerse you in the atmosphere of the spookiest day of the year, followed by a fun treasure hunt to find the ghosts hidden throughout the Library.
Recommended age: 3-6. Free admission, reservations required at bibliotecacivicadialba.eventbrite.com.

The evening is designed for older children (ages 8 and up): at 9:00 pm, writer Christian Antonini (Messer Sussurro) and Chiara Mozzone (Madama Trama) will perform "The Night of the Crooked Witch: Even Witches Need Help!" With the power of stories, the only good witch who has never been able to cast a spell and who, for this reason, was imprisoned in the Night of Forgetfulness, will be freed. With the help of everyone, the witch's cauldron will be filled, her spellbook filled, and her broom decorated, giving her the ability to laugh and fly again.
Recommended age: 8 and up. Free participation, reservations required at bibliotecacivicadialba.eventbrite.com.
