The activity takes place in the MAB room of the Diocesan Library, at the Episcopal Seminary (Piazza
Vittorio Veneto, Alba) and there are two time slots:
4.15 pm (activity for children aged 6-8)
5.15 pm (activity for children aged 3-5)

On the ground floor of the Alba Episcopal Seminary in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, there is the MAB Room where you
can read books translated into Augmentative and Alternative Communication, a welcoming
and colorful space in which to host all the children and young people who want to read new stories made up of symbols
and drawings.
The exhibition "Ten Years of "BOOKS FOR ALL": When Accessible Reading Becomes a Reality" opens at the
Alba Diocesan Library from June 19th to July 19th. The
traveling exhibition, held in the Episcopal Seminary, celebrates the tenth anniversary of the project by the Paideia Foundation of Turin,
with the support of the Piedmont Region. Admission is free during the Seminary's opening hours,
10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Please call the secretary's office - entrance is on Piazza Vittorio Veneto).
On the occasion of the traveling exhibition "Books for Everyone," on Saturday, June 20, the Alba Diocesan Library
is organizing "Everyone at the MAB. Inclusive Readings Aloud" and welcomes readers of all ages for an
afternoon of reading using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
The workshop is organized as part of the CHE STORIA network, promoted by the
Alba Civic Library with the support of the Piedmont Region and the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation. At the heart
of the CHE STORIA project is an awareness of the importance of the culture-health relationship and, therefore,
the belief that reading and cultural activities have positive effects on
people's physical and psychological
Recommended age: 3 to 8 years.
