Alba Music Festival
The performance of Carl Orff's grandiose opera, Carmina Burana, will be presented in the evocative setting of the Cortile delle Maddalena, the beating heart of Alba's historic center, involving more than 200 people including orchestra members, choir members, soloists, conductors, as well as technicians and assistants, offering a perfect combination of high artistic level, spectacular visual impact, and valorization of the city's architectural heritage. Listening to a live performance of Carmina Burana is always an immersive and exhilarating experience, not even remotely comparable to the most perfect reproduction.
