Barbaresco and Art – Visions and Resonances

On Thursday, June 11th, at 4:00 PM, the historic rooms of the Hotel Calissano will host the conference "Barbaresco and Art - Visions and Resonances," led by Professor Armando Castagno. A unique voice in the wine world, Castagno has successfully combined his two degrees, one in Law and one in Historical-Artistic Studies, to create a narrative of wine that appeals to the most discerning enthusiasts as well as those approaching the world of wine with caution. During the conference, the Enoteca Regionale del Barbaresco, sponsor of the lecture dedicated to the parallels between Wine and Art, will award Armando Castagno the title "The Voice of Barbaresco • Vintage 2023," making him the ambassador of the new Barbaresco DOCG vintage to the world. This is no coincidence, as it coincides with the publication of his latest book, "Le vigne del Barbaresco," a monograph that recounts the cultural context surrounding Barbaresco DOCG in a prose that doesn't simply explain Barbaresco, but aims to make it felt. The book will be available for purchase during the conference.
