AT the Blues Festival
A colorful space featuring concerts, meetings, presentations, and exhibitions.
The Festival, curated by the ALEC Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Alba, is a series of initiatives dedicated to music, specifically the blues (the genre's evolution through electric blues and rock-blues), involving a wide range of participants from the local community, from students from the art and music high schools to other cultural associations in the city.
The program will include: concerts by national artists; a music competition open especially to young people, divided into three categories; performances by young musicians from the music and music high schools; workshops with musicians; book presentations and meetings with journalists and writers; listening sessions and insights into the history of the blues; exhibitions of vinyl covers, film posters, and photographs; and screenings of films and documentaries. The AL Blues Festival will be held in Alba from Wednesday, May 5th to Sunday, May 9th, 2027, in the beautiful setting of the Teatro Sociale "G. Busca," which, for the occasion, will be "festively dressed" with specially designed installations and exhibitions, in dialogue with the theater's architectural spaces.
