The older Langhe villages recall an authentic Langa, made of simple relationships and vibrant communities. Today, amidst tourism and picture-perfect landscapes, it feels like living in a perfect amusement park, fascinating yet at times cloying.
Are the towns still the same as they once were? Are there still places to meet, chat after Mass, or rekindle old friendships? Perhaps change is inevitable, as in the rest of the world, but this comedy, through the stories of its protagonists, invites us to smile and reflect on the value of collective memory. Because sometimes the real spectacle isn't the tourist amusement park, but the daily lives of those who remain.
