Now in its 6th edition, ALBAttle 2026 , the festival dedicated to hip hop . It will feature young enthusiasts from all over Italy in a series of workshops, exhibitions, artistic performances and breaking battles, in what has become a regular and highly anticipated event for the city.

The festival kicks off on March 19th with workshops from the Breaking The Walls , which offers Dance Movement Therapy programs aimed at Generation Z, using breakdancing as a tool to improve the psychological and physical well-being of young people. The day continues with the "Twin Cities Battle" , dedicated to the twin city of Banská Bystrica and the European project's partner cities, L'Aquila and Porto. The event will be accompanied by a gala aperitif with participants from the various cities and a live graffiti performance. March 20th is dedicated to the breaking battle in the "crew versus crew " category, and, in the evening, the song contest, now in its second edition, "Brani in Power Slap ," in collaboration with Cinemavekkio and WRAPdZONA – Radio Alba, which will feature young local talents.

The heart of the event is March 21st breaking competition , now an Olympic discipline, which will qualify the winners for major international events: Check The Style in L'Aquila, Oubreak Europe in Banská Bystrica, and The World Battle in Porto. This year, too, there will be plenty of urban sports, such as skateboarding with Tanaro Skateboard and basketball with Olimpo Basket.

The festival concludes on Sunday 22 March with a moment dedicated to the local area: all ALBAttle participants will be able to book visits to the city's museums
