Alba is the Italian Capital of Contemporary Art 2027

With the dossier “Le fabbrica del vento” , inspired in its title by the work of Pinot Gallizio , Alba conquers the designation of Italian Capital of Contemporary Art 2027 : an acknowledgement from the Ministry of Culture that rewards a project capable of intertwining contemporary creativity, participation and valorization of the territory, with the aim of generating a lasting artistic, economic and social impact.

In 2027, art takes center stage with a comprehensive program that brings cities and hills into dialogue, including the Langhe Biennale . The title is accompanied by a €1 million ministerial contribution to implement the project's planned activities.
