Vinum
Alba 's historic center into a true open-air wine bar : for a few days between April and May, the squares and streets become a sprawling tasting trail, where you can discover local wines in a convivial and accessible atmosphere.
The heart of the event is represented by the tasting tables , tasting points dedicated to the main Piedmontese denominations (Langhe, Roero, Monferrato and beyond), with the presence of AIS Piemonte sommeliers to orient oneself among the grape varieties, styles and characteristics of the producers.
Alongside tastings, Vinum offers a calendar of initiatives that broaden the experience and connect wine to local culture: themed workshops, guided tours, food events, and entertainment that showcase the landscape, traditions, and knowledge of the area (also in relation to the UNESCO-recognized wine landscape).
In this review you can find, among other proposals:
- Vinum Lab : workshops on wine and pairings, grape varieties and production
- Vinum Tours : itineraries and routes to learn more about denominations and the region
- Vinum at the table : gastronomic experiences in dedicated locations
- Cooking classes and street food
- Vinum Notes : Tastings accompanied by live music
- Vinum Bimbi : an educational area dedicated to children
To make planning your visit easy, Vinum's official channels provide a map, tasting points, and useful information updated throughout the event.
