Ambassador of Creativity 2020 – 2021

Starting in 2020, the City of Alba has decided to establish the position of Ambassador of Creativity , choosing among prominent figures in the area who have made genius their most important weapon, bringing the name of Alba to the world.

For the 2020-2021 year, the ambassador was Valerio Berruti , a contemporary artist of international caliber, deeply rooted in the Langhe area, where he grew up and still lives. The appointment came during the event called "Let's Start Again Together" on July 10, 2020, an opportunity to launch the new post-pandemic communications campaign for Alba, a UNESCO Creative City for Gastronomy, during which Mayor Carlo Bo and Tourism Councilor Emanuele Bolla connected via video with Giorgio Gori, Mayor of Bergamo.

The multifaceted artist said he was honored to be able to link his name to that of Alba Creative City and is working on new ideas that will see the light as soon as possible.
