The “Giacomo Morra” Exhibition and Congress Centre is Alba's main exhibition and conference centre, located in Piazza Medford, the gateway to the city centre.
Built in 1985 and designed by Alba architect Valerio Demaria , it is a multipurpose municipal building designed for exhibitions, conventions, and public meetings. It extends over three floors: the atrium and four exhibition rooms occupy the ground floor and mezzanine, while the other levels house support rooms and services.
It is easy to reach: it is just outside the historic center, about a five-minute walk from the station and next to the bus terminal.
Since 2001, it has been named after Giacomo Morra (1889–1963), a hotelier and restaurateur from Alba. Throughout the year, it hosts city festivals and events related to major local events, from the Truffle Fair to photography exhibitions.
