The “Giovanni Ferrero” Civic Library in Alba, from Saturday 14 March to Saturday 11 April , hosts “ Explorations ” by Arianna Defilippi.

The exhibition retraces landscapes, places, and details that recount physical and geographical reality, evoking a dreamlike and contemplative experience: "that journey-exploration that, even when you close your eyes, is always available.".

The underlying theme is water, which the artist explores from different perspectives and with diverse uses of color, evoking themes of travel, the emotional world, and the individual unconscious. The works are created using watercolor, charcoal, and mixed media.

Arianna Defilippi is an emerging artist born in Alba. Movement is a central element in her work, and color becomes a tool for exploration and transformation, in a process that embraces unpredictability as a vital part of the work.
