CINEMA LESSON

Yuri Ancarani, Ravenna 1972.
Yuri Ancarani is represented by Isabella Bortolozzi Galerie, Berlin and by ZERO..., Milan.

An Italian video artist and filmmaker, his works are born from a continuous mix of documentary cinema and contemporary art, and are the result of research often aimed at exploring less visible aspects of everyday life, realities into which the artist delves firsthand.

The film class—open and free (registration required)—will focus on a reflection on an artist's goals: showing what we often don't want to see, attempting to make the invisible visible and thus represent it. There will be screenings and engaging discussions that will conclude at 5:00 PM, with a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.

This will be followed by the screening of the film COVID MOVIES by NABA students, curated by Yuri Ancarani
