An afternoon of female voices, stories, and talents to celebrate International Women's Day. On Saturday, March 7, 2026, the Beppe Fenoglio Hall hosts "Protagoniste ," a public event that intertwines sport, volunteering, community, young generations, and music, highlighting diverse and concrete experiences of participation.

The initiative stems from the joint work of the City Councils and the Youth Forum, with the aim of providing a lively forum for discussion: an opportunity to discuss rights, opportunities, and remaining obstacles , and how a more equitable city is being built every day—on sports fields, in associations, in caring relationships, and in creative journeys.

The afternoon will be punctuated by dialogues and musical interludes by the “Lodovico Rocca” Civic Music Institute of Alba and the Alba City Band , to give rhythm and breath to a choral narration made up of testimonies, ideas and “uncomfortable” yet necessary questions.
