From Saturday 29 November to Saturday 10 January, the “G. Ferrero” Civic Library will host the exhibition “Racconti di Langa a colori” by the artist Luigi Carbone .

Born in Lequio Berria, where his studio is located, Carbone's works tell the story of the Langhe and its landscapes. His paintings are filled with soft light, chromatic harmonies, and poetry. As art critic Carlo Mariano Sartoris writes: "Carbone has captured the most touching and captivating aspects of this marvelous land. He has done so by harnessing the magical power of color, decorating with the many subtleties that arise only from an intimate sensitivity to a territory that nature has already fashioned into a truly beautiful landscape."

Throughout his long artistic career, Luigi Carbone has held countless solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad. His works are held in prestigious private and public collections. He has contributed to the publication of books and has received numerous awards, including first prize at the Alba Biennial in 1969, 1971, and 2007.

The exhibition can be visited during library opening hours.
