For over thirty years, Angelo, the caretaker of an elegant Milanese apartment building, has been dedicated to his job: he knows the tenants by name, helps the elderly Gaspare, and puts up with Mrs. Biraghi. Guardian of keys and memories, one day his world crumbles: Caterina, a charming woman, announces he's fired. An app will replace him, because now only revenue and automation matter. But Angelo doesn't give up: the lobby transforms into a chessboard, where he and his opponents face off in a fierce game of memory and progress.
